Ingredients:
4-6 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 Cloves minced garlic
1 Cup Honey
1/4 Cup Ketchup
1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 Teaspoon - 1 Tablespoon Red Pepper Flakes (can be modified to your liking, I like it spicy)
1/2-1 Teaspoon Chinese Five spice
1/2-1 Teaspoon Ground Ginger
1/2-1 Tablespoon Sesame Seeds
4 Teaspoons Corn Starch
1/3 Cup Hot Water
Directions:
1. Cut chicken into strips and place in crock pot
2. In a bowl, combine Garlic, honey, ketchup, soy sauce, oil, red pepper flakes, chinese 5 spice and ginger. Pour over chicken and cook on Low 3-4 hours or High 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
3. In a small bowl combine cornstarch in 1/3 cup hot water and add to crock pot, stir into to sauce to allow sauce to somewhat thicken. (Its not gonna be super thick but enough to make it not so watery.)
4. Sprinkle evenly with Sesame seeds and Enjoy!!!!
Serve over your choice of Rice, Fried rice, Rice noodles, etc....
I like to make fried rice whenever I am making some sort of chinese style meat.
